Day 01 : Arrive in Srinagar
On arrival at Srinagar Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your houseboat or budget/luxury (5 star) hotels in Srinagar. Distance from airport to city centre is approx. 14kms & travel time of 45mins. Evening enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on the quaint & pleasing Dal Lake. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar


Day 02 : Sightseeing in Srinagar
Today go for Srinagar sightseeing tour. Tourist places in Srinagar: Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple (located at a height of 1000ft above the plain overlooking the city of Srinagar, and dates back to 200BC), Nishat Bagh (Garden of Joy/Delight - a terraced Mughal garden built in 1633 on the banks of the famous Dal Lake), Shalimar Bagh (Built in 1619 by the Mughal emperor Jehangir for his wife Noor Jahan). If time permits, also visit the Hazratbal Shrine (a Muslim shrine in Srinagar). Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.


Day 03 : Full day Pahalgam tourism excursion (Distance 98kms one way & 3hrs. journey)
After early morning breakfast drive to Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds; Enroute drive through the Saffron fields of Pampora and observe the beautiful countryside. Also visit Awantipura Ruins (an 1100yrs old temple built in the 09th century by King Avantivarman and dedicated to lord Vishu). Continue your drive to Pahalgam through the pine forests and Lidder River. Afternoon free for individual activities Pahalgam is a popular tourist destination and a world famous hill station with breath-taking views. Situated at a height of 7200ft above sea level, it is surrounded with fragrant pine forest that includes a golf course.  Evening return to Srinagar for your overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04 : Tour & Excursion to Gulmarg (Distance 55kms & 2hrs. journey)
This morning go on picturesque drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg (Meadow of flowers) - Identified as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century; it is now one of the most famous tourist spots of Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level it has the world’s highest 18 holes green golf course, as well as delightful ski slopes
Evening return to Srinagar for overnight stay at deluxe houseboat.

Day Wise Suggested Itinerary

Day 01 : Srinagar
On arrival at Airport / Railway Station and you will be met, assisted and drive to Srinagar. Transfer to Houseboat. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure and enjoy Shikara Ride and scenic view of mountain ranges around Dal Lake. Overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 02 : Srinagar - Local sightseeing (27 km)
Next Day visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) the Mughals laid out in the 16th century. These fall along the banks of the Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar city & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing a panoramic view of entire City, along with famous Dal Lake & River Jehlum, enroute visiting handloom centre famous for production of Pashmina/ shahtoos shawls & world over carpets. Day 03 : Srinagar - Gulmarg (52 km/2 hours)

Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01 :- Srinagar International Airport & 14 Kms Drive to City Centre Altitude 1730 Mtrs.
Arrival at Srinagar international airport our RIE representative will meet & Greet you and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat/Hotel in Srinagar, Afternoon tour of Mughal Gardens Visits the Heritages Places, Cheshma Shahi (By Shah Jehan in 1632 AD.), Pari Mahal (By Dara Shikoh), Nishat Bagh (By Asaf Khan in 1633 AD.), Shalimar Bagh (By Jehangir in 1616 AD), Evening back for Lake rides by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens, Kaboter Khana (Pigeon Palace) inside of the Lake, dinner & overnight stay at Houseboat/Hotel.


Day 02 :- Srinagar - Pahalgam -Srinagar 96 Kms. 2  1/2 Hours Drive (Altitude 2195 Mrts.)
After breakfast leave for the full day Sightseeing of Pahalgam (The Valley of Shepherds), one of the beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all the year. It is the base for several treks in the region & for the Annual Pilgrimages to the cave shrine of Amarnath, It is surrounded by 12 high snow capped peaks. Day Wise Suggested Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive in Srinagar (Afternoon Local Sightseeing)
On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jehlum river, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. Today we will do some half a day of local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughals, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating. With a backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan mountains, the gardens boast of green turfs, blooming flowers and cascading water fountains. We will explore the gardens and later drive for a 02 hrs shikara ride in the lake. This boat ride glides you past some wonderful vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Dinner and Overnight stay in Srinagar Houseboat.


Day 02 : Srinagar to Sonamarg (Day Trip)
We begin our second day with a sumptous breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm and stopover for a warm cup of tea before we head towards Sonamarg. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sindh and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot. In Sonamarg we will take a 3 hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier. After our return we will visit the small town market for some snacks or  just pay a visit observing the local people going with thier daily routine. We will drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the hotel for our overnight stay.


Day 03 : Srinagar to Gulmarg (Full Day Trip)
After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country side day trip towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesue market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. We arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and begin a short tour around the meadow familarising ourselves with the beauty. In Gulmarg we will board the Gondola cable car system, and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some horse-riding to the strawberry valley.  In the evening we will drive back to Srinagar where we can take a walk along the banks of the Dal Lake or simply rest in the cosy rooms of our hotel. Dinner and Overnight in hotel.


Day 04 : Srinagar to Pahalgam (Full Day Trip)
Our trip today will be to a picturesque valley around 97 kiilometers South of Kashmir. Known as Pahalgam (which means The Shepherd’s Village), the valley is renowned the world over for its exotic forests, pretty water streams and imposing snow peaks. In Pahalgam you can visit  Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows. After sightseeing around the mountain valley for most of the day, we will drive back to Srinagar and transfer to the hotel for our overnight stay.


Day 05 : Departure Transfer to Airport
After a late morning breakfast, we will drive to the airport for your flight home. At the airport the driver will assist you with the luggage and will later drop you at the terminal.
